Really tired of litter
I see a lot of litter on my short drive to and from work in Holly Springs.
But last week for the first time, in the city limits, I saw an old mattress along the side of the road in the weeds.
Close to Nowhere
It’s so bad you just have to laugh
I read a short story by Stephen King a while back that probably could have been written about my life.
Seems most people have gremlins or fairies or whatever that take care of them. Some are better than others at their jobs. This one guy’s gremlin was one of the not-so-good-at-his-job gremlins. But, he was better than nothing.
Cup of Joy
As always, it is my pleasure to serve you
I was talking to a businessman last week. I was talking to him about what I do, and of course I was trying to sell to him.
He wasn’t having it. But he did look at me with all sincerity and say, “You know the great thing about what you do? You believe in what you’re doing.”
Letter to the Editor
I just wanted to take a minute to say what a great time my wife and I recently had visiting your town.
We were meandering Mississippi, seeking out various sites that we had read about in a guide book entitled, “Mississippi, Off the Beaten Path,” when we ended up downtown in beautiful Holly Springs at the Main Street Chamber building.
