SocietyCity Personals Thomas Stewart celebrates 7th birthday Everette Stubbs of Washington, DC, was here over the weekend visiting with his mother, Linda Stubbs, and grandmother, Pat Stubbs. While here, he travelled to the Neshoba County Fair, which is a family tradition. Happy 7th birthday goes out to Thomas Stewart, who celebrated with a big “water party” on Saturday. Several children attended and had a grand time throwing water balloons and playing in the sprinklers with Thomas. Mike and Helen Power, Tip Power and Sarah Power recently returned from a relaxing vacation in Orange Beach, Ala. Phoebe and Tommy Stewart of Houston, Texas, are in town visiting with their son, Tom Stewart, and his family, Linda, Brittany and Thomas. Lisa and Greg Shaw and children, Jacob and Kelsey, along with their friends, Morgan Moore, Anne Greer and Lauralee Fant, Peggy Shaw and Kim Shaw recently returned from a trip to Gulf Shores, Ala. They were joined by cousins, Dottie and Johnny Wilson of Memphis, Tenn., who met up with their daughter, Courtney Wilson and friend, Joe, of Mobile, Ala. Joe brought his boat up on Sunday and took Greg and Johnny out for a little fishing. Jacob and Morgan had a fun filled week - Waterville, Adventure Island and lots of skim boarding and crab hunting. Kelsey, Anne, and Lauralee attended the concert of Brooks and Dunn at the Wharf and had a blast! The rest of them lay on the beach every morning and evening and got all the sun and surf they could stand! They had great weather and enjoyed spending time together, doing a little shopping, cooking out on the beach and just relaxing! The people in my past I’ll remember forever. Old people from my childhood were really interesting. My neighbor, Mrs. Gibbons was like an old Gibson girl. Her son, Kendrick, took me on my first motorcycle ride. Mrs. Hopkins, Frank Hopkins’ mother, was the granddaughter of Supreme Justice Judge James F. Trotter. Mrs. Tyler who lived next door to me was the daughter of Roger Barton, well known original lawyer of early Holly Springs.
