OpinionFielder’s Choice New swing We all like to stay in our comfort zones. We get complacent – do not try new things. You might recall a couple of Christmases ago when my family bought me some golf clubs. I’d never played golf before but I requested the clubs. I needed some recreation and figured I’d gotten too old for softball and basketball. I am a hot-natured person and like to have the church cool. However, I know that if it is cool enough for me, the ladies of the congregation are freezing. So I make use of the fans. Letter To The Editor Stop complaining: There have been some complaints from some of the RES customers regarding garbage pickup. My garbage is picked up every week, on time. If there is a holiday, it is picked up the next day. How can your garbage be picked up if it is not where it is supposed to be on “pick-up day?” So, stop complaining and get your garbage to the roadside! Rose G.
