Love those rivalries
When it comes to high school basketball, it doesn’t get much better than county rivalries.
I was in attendance Friday night at H.W. Byers for the latest edition. The Lady Lions and Lions hosted Potts Camp.
As typical, the gymnasium was full and the emotions were high.

Odds and ends, pieces and anti-freeze
• Daughter Dana mentioned something the other day that amazed me.
I’ve turned off Craft Street onto Lemac toward Center Street to come to work for years.

Have you ever had to deal with Microsoft directly, as in phone calls redirected all over the world?
Well, all I wanted to do was send an article to The South Reporter which was written in Word 2010. Computer told me I had to buy it! Hello? It’s been on my computer for ages, why do I have to buy it? I was given three choices, I had bought it and to install it (no), I wanted to buy it (didn’t but appeared I had to) and some other choice which didn’t apply. So, I checked buy Office 2010. Charged it to my credit card. Had to give my e-mail address and here’s where all h--- broke loose.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Each member of our class is working on a project called the “Parade of States.” We are responsible for gathering as much information as we can from a number of sources.
I have chosen Mississippi for my state. If any of your readers would help me out by sending any pictures, postcards, a used license plate, facts, products, etc., from your state, it would be greatly appreciated. Please send the information to the above address.
