Grady Brooks catches big fish
Vicki and Walter Webb spent the weekend in Birmingham, Ala., with Mary Glen and Patrick Carlton and children, Mary Grace and William.
Kay and Laura Wheeler, Mary Clay and Gene Brooks and children, Caitlyn and Grady, and Lexi Crawford returned Saturday from a week in Sandestin, Fla. Hank Wheeler of Newnan, Ga., joined them for the first part of the week.
Gene and Grady took a 10-hour, deep sea fishing trip late in the week, going 40 miles offshore. Grady caught two of the biggest fish that day, both red snapper. Since they are out of season, they had to release them. But, they did come home with some good red grouper! If you are ever in the Destin or Ft. Walton area and want a great fishing experience, call Olin Marler Charters at Destin Harbor. They have all sorts of packages available, a fabulous staff and wonderful captains and crews!
Nancy Jones and daughter, Mary Neely, just returned from a relaxing vacation in Sandestin, Fla.
