Area football teams are getting some off-season training close to home.
Potts Camp High School is hosting seven-on-seven each Monday during June.
In recent years, Marshall County schools like Potts Camp, Byhalia and H.W. Byers have traveled to Oxford for seven-on-seven.
Twenty-one teams play in Utley Tournament
Marshall Academy, in conjunction with Kirkwood National Golf Club, held the Walter Utley Memorial Golf Tournament on May 31.
The tournament was reinstated after a six-year absence to bring additional support to the Marshall Academy Capital Campaign, “Moving Forward, One Gift at a Time.”
Behind The Scoreboard
The Miami Heat went down in the first game of the NBA finals but they are a long shot from being out. When a closer look is taken at the 92-88 game, one can readily see that the Heat led the home-court contest for practically the entire game.
