Locals vacation in Orange Beach
Ashley Cook and children, Tanner, Abbi, Trigger, Kylee and Lexi, Caitlyn Brooks and Kathy Titsworth and Dalon, as well as the Hughes family, spent the entire week in Orange Beach, Ala. They enjoyed spending time at the beach, shopping and eating wonderful food.

Sarah Hall and Ben Robinson to wed June 22 at First Baptist, New Albany
Charlie and Lana Hall of New Albany are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Hall of New Albany, to Benjamin Wyman Robinson of Waterford, the son of Jim and Penne Robinson of Waterford.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Ernest and Jewel Hall and the late Jeff and Flora Doris Carter, all of New Albany.
Sarah is a graduate of Ingomar Attendance Center and received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Blue Mountain College. She will be employed as a high school science teacher at Oxford High School this fall.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Howard and Eileen Wyman of Canton, Louise Allen of Myrtle, and the late Jack Robinson of Waterford.
Ben is a graduate of Potts Camp High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Mississippi. He works as a business analyst at FNC in Oxford.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. on June 22, 2013 at First Baptist Church in New Albany.
Bro. Rick Blythe will be officiating the ceremony. The bride will be given away by her parents, Charlie and Lana Hall. A reception will follow the ceremony at the In Bloom Event Hall. All friends and family are invited to attend the ceremony and reception.
The couple plans to live in Waterford after the wedding.
Frannie Farris and Michael Franks to say vows on June 22
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Farris III of Holly Springs announce the marriage of their daughter, Frances Terry, to Michael Joseph Franks, son of Mrs. Raldon Collins of Olive Branch and Ned Franks of Memphis, Tenn.
Miss Farris is the granddaughter of Mrs. Terry Draughn Sullivan of Bay St. Louis and the late Dr. John Sullivan of Montgomery, Ala., and Dr. Charles Farris Jr. and the late Margee Gandolfo Farris of New Orleans.
She was a 2005 honors graduate of Marshall Academy. In 2009 she graduated from Ole Miss with degrees in business administration and paralegal studies. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Frannie served as 2005 Holly Springs Pilgrimage Queen. She served as a maid in 2006 Carnival Memphis. As a debutante in New Orleans she was presented at the Mardi Gras Krewes of Dorians, Athenians, and Prophets of Persia. She was also presented at the Bienville Club President’s Ball.
Frannie is employed at Kemberton Healthcare Services LLC as the denials manager.
Mr. Franks is the grandson of Rosalie Morganti Franks and the late Jack Eldon Franks of Friars Point and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Glennon Scheibelhut of Memphis. He is a 2004 graduate of Christian Brothers High School and in 2008 he graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in marketing and international business. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He is an account executive with Cybera.
The wedding will be solemnized June 22, 2013, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Oxford. The wedding will be officiated by The Very Reverend Bruce McMillan of Christ Episcopal Church and Father Leonard Elder of St. Joseph Catholic Church, both of Holly Springs. A reception will follow at The Lyric Theatre which will be catered by Diane Greer and Maia Miller. Jennifer Greer McCullar is the wedding planner. All of the floral arrangements will be created by Carl Isom. Frannie’s bridal bouquet will be carried in a sterling silver tussie mussie that belonged to her paternal grandmother. She will be the third generation to carry this heirloom.
After a honeymoon to an undisclosed location, the couple will reside in Nashville, Tenn.
Hayley Alred and Josh Hillmer to wed August 3 in Crowder
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mills of Potts Camp and Mr. and Mrs. Casey Hillmer of Waterford announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their son, Joshua David Hillmer of Potts Camp, to Hayley Michelle Alred of Marks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Alred of Marks.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Alred of Marks and Mildre Fairley of Greenwood. She is a graduate of Delta Academy in Marks, class of 2010, and graduated from Northwest MS Community College in 2013 with an Associate of Applied Sciences.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. George Wright of Holly Springs and Mary Mills of Potts Camp, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hillmer of Waterford and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bolt of Doyline, La.
He is a 2009 graduate of Potts Camp High School and a 2013 graduate of Northwest MS Community College with an Associate of Arts degree.
An Eagle Scout with Troop 43 in Potts Camp, he is employed at Cousin’s Express on Hwy. 7 North.
The wedding will be held at 2 p.m. on August 3, 2013 at Crowder Baptist Church. All friends and family are invited to attend.
Bethany Kyzar to wed Justin Curtis June 14 at Davies Plantation
Ricky and Paula Rhodes of Holly Springs and Greg Curtis of Como announce the engagement of their son, Justin Curtis of Lepanto, Ark., to Bethany Kyzar of Cordova, Tenn.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Paul and Nancy Canada of Holly Springs and Mallory and Beth Curtis of Michigan City and the late Milton and Tawanda Rhodes of Holly Springs.
He is a 2004 graduate of Marshall Academy in Holly Springs and a 2008 graduate of Blue Mountain College with a degree in Biblical studies, and a 2011 graduate of Mid-America Seminary in Cordova, Tenn., with a Master of Divinity degree. He is currently the student pastor at First Baptist Church in Lepanto, Ark.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Garry and Marval Kyzar of Marion, Ark., and the granddaughter of the late John Harmon and Mary Marsalis of McComb, and the late X.L. and Lillian Kyzar of McComb.
She is a 2000 graduate of West Memphis High School and a 2004 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in early childhood education. She is a teacher at Macon Hall Elementary in Cordova, Tenn.
The wedding is scheduled for Friday, June 14, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at Davies Plantation in Bartlett, Tenn.
After a honeymoon in Jamica, the couple will make their home in LePanto.
