OpinionFielder’s Choice Late baseball I’ve played softball before well after midnight. I was on the field in Double Springs, Ala., once upon a time until about 4:30 a.m. I got home, slept for a couple of hours and got up in time for church. Close to Nowhere Birmingham I drove to Birmingham, Ala. last week for the very first time.
