| Breaking News | | Authorities look for bank robbery
suspects
The Slayden Branch of the Bank of Holly
Springs was hit by armed robbers at 1:10 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 19,
according to Sheriff Kenny Dickerson. Three black male suspects wearing
bandannas and flashing big handguns came into the bank just off Highway 72 in
Marshall County and held up tellers, he said. A fourth suspect may have remained
in the get-away vehicle - thought to be a burnt orange, late model Toyota
Corolla or Nissan. A picture of what is believed to be the get-away car was
captured by bank video cameras. An undetermined amount of cash was taken from
the bank, Dickerson said.
A reward is being offered for information
leading to the capture and arrest of suspects and conviction, Dickerson said.
Anyone who has leads or tips that may be useful to law enforcement in this
investigation is asked to call the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office at
662-252-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-729-2169. |
