Luberta
Smith, wife of the late Holly Springs Mayor Eddie Lee Smith, cut the
ribbon celebrating the 10th health fair, named in honor of her husband.

This year 197 children from
the Marjean Myatt ICS Head Start Center in Holly Springs participated,
enjoying hoola hoops, bicycle safety classes, a tour of Alliance’s
ambulance, the city’s fire truck and the medical helicopter, Air Evac
of Batesville. Alliance gave away four bicycles and a number of door
prizes provided by vendors. Inside the Eddie Lee
Smith Multi-Purpose Building, professionals displayed their health- or
safety-related products. Each year the groups showcasing their business
products continue to diversify. Local participation has increased. | Checking blood pressure
