ObituariesArylss Ann Henderson Callicutt Arylss Ann Henderson Callicutt, 75, died April 27, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on Aug. 25, 1937. A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on April 29 at First Baptist Church in Holly Springs. She
leaves her husband of 55 years, Edwin Callicutt Jr.; three children,
Edwin (Brenda) Callicutt III of Fairhope, Ala., Hayward (Kathy)
Callicutt of Silsbee, Texas, Alice (Tommy) Ray of Holly Springs; her
brother, Billy Henderson (Annette) of Cookeville, Tenn.; six
grandchildren, Darby Jane Callicutt of Fairhope, Bennett Crowley
(Tonya) of Mauriceville, Texas, Caitlin Ann Callicutt of Silsbee, Will
Patton, Wesleyann Ray, both of Holly Springs, Heather (Mike) Hodges of
Germantown, Tenn.; and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Holly Springs, or Marshall Academy, Holly Springs. Donald L. Duster Donald L. Duster, 81, of Chicago, Ill., died March 11, 2013. He was the grandson of the late Ida B. Wells-Barnett. A
tribute service was held Saturday, April 13, 2013, 1 p.m., at the First
Presbyterian Church of Chicago. Rev. Reggie A. Weaver officiated. He leaves his wife, Maxine Duster; two sons, Daniel and David; and one daughter Michelle Duster Coleman (Barry). Melissa Ford
Melissa “Missy” Ford, 42, of Holly Springs, died April 23, 2013, at her home. She was a cabinet builder. Services
were held at 2 p.m. on April 27 at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel in New
Albany. Burial was in McKay Cemetery in Hickory Flat. Bro. Michael
Bryant officiated. She leaves her daughter,
Jessica Shana Ford of Starkville; her mother, Margaret Stanton and
stepfather Lelon Stanton of Hickory Flat; her brother, Marty Stanton of
Hickory Flat; and her grandmother, Mary Hogue and stepgrandfather,
Milburn Hogue of New Albany. Pallbearers were Ricky Schoffner, Barkley Shoffner, Franky Stanton, Kevin Webb, Marty Stanton and Caleb Shoffner. Edith Shelton McClain Edith Shelton McClain, 71, of Waterford, died April 22, 2013, at her home. She was a Christian and a seamstress. Services were held at 11 a.m. on April 25 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. She
leaves four daughters, Jeanne Hudson of Corinth, Terry Wilson (Michael)
of Waterford, Sandy Jackson (Stacy) of Rienzi, Tammy Jordan (Jason) of
Henderson, Tenn.; two brothers, Willie Shelton of Chewalla, Tenn.,
Grover Shelton of Norco, Calif.; a sister, Metra King of Southaven; 10
grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by a son, Jimmie McClain; four brothers, Clarence
Shelton, Clay Shelton, Elijah Shelton, Dolphus Shelton; and two

B. South, 76, of Byhalia, died April 19, 2013, at Trinity Hospice House
in Collierville, Tenn. She was the widow of Clyde William South. She
was a Baptist and retired from Vendo and Walmart. Services
were held at 11 a.m. on April 22 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Byhalia Cemetery. Bro. Montgomery officiated. She
leaves a son, Bruce South of Byhalia; a daughter, Debbie Kimble (Bobby)
of Byhalia; a brother, Jackie Bennett of Memphis, Tenn.; six
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by a son, Clyde South Jr.; a daughter, Teresa

Roby
Lee Stegall, 87, of Hattiesburg, died April 27, 2013, at his home. He
was born in Pelehatchie and later moved to Forest. In 1944, he enlisted
in the U.S. Navy and served in the South Pacific during World War II
for 21 months and was honorably discharged. After his military service,
he enrolled at the University of Mississippi and then in the school of
law, where he served as secretary of his class. He received his Juris
Doctor in 1951. He set up his law practice in Forest and was owner of
Stegall Furniture Company. He was a member and president of the Rotary
Club. He was a member of the Ole Miss Alumni Association and member of
Forest United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir and was a
Sunday school teacher. In 1978, he and his wife retired to San Diego,
Calif., and moved back to Miss. two years ago. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on May 3 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church. He
leaves his wife of 62 years, Ellen Fitts Stegall; two daughters, Susan
Warren of Holly Springs, Stacy (Bill) Pace of Hattiesburg; a son, Roby
Lee Stegall Jr. of Hattiesburg, formerly of San Diego; three
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Deloris Riser, Lucy Allums; grandson, Rob Warren; and son-in-law, Jimmy Warren. In

38635. Mary Ella Sullivan Mary Ella Sullivan, 68, of Byhalia, died April 21, 2013. She was a seamstress. Services
were held at 1 p.m. on April 25 at Faith World Ministries, where she
was a member. Burial was in Carey Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Waldrop
officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She
leaves four daughters, Brenda Babin of Houma, La., Celia Jeanette Hamm
of Holly Springs, Penny Boyington, Amy Sullivan, both of Byhalia; three
brothers, James Tracey, and Roy; four sisters, Gertie Mae, Brenda Gail,
Elizabeth, and Mary Jo; seven grandchildren and four

Bobby
Williamson, 56, of Atlanta, Ga., died April 19, 2013. He attended the
St. Mary’s Catholic School and was a member of Hopewell No. 1 Baptist
Church. Services were held at 12 noon on April
25 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Burial was in Hopewell
No. 1 Cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. He
leaves his wife, Doris Brown Williamson; a daughter, Lakesha
Williamson; sons Lavengia Williamson (Sharon), Bobby Williamson Jr.,
Danny Howell; brothers Robin Craig (Rosie) and Mark A. Williamson
(Bobbie Sue); and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers
were Gerome Pegues, Larry Howell, Rodrigues Pegues, Lavandez Howell,
Perro Howell, Dominic Oswalt, Kelvin Lesure and Terrance Cowan.
Honorary pallbearers were Robin Williamson, Mark Williamson, Lavengia
Williamson, Bobby Williamson Jr., Danny Howell, Chris Perkins, Courtney
