Moore, Marshall County superintendent of education, will be the speaker
at the next Byhalia Area Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon. The event is set for Thursday, April 18, with doors opening at 11:15 a.m., lunch at 11:30 and the program 12:15 p.m. to 1. The
luncheon will be held at Victory Church, 21 Vinson Rd., Byhalia (behind
Discount Grocery.) Lunch is catered and sponsored by ABRA Auto Body
& Glass Cooking Team & TLC Logistics. There
will be member commercials, a new member picture and Member of the Day
recognition. Display space is available for $25. Luncheon cost is $5
for members (with reservations) and $10 for all others. Reservations

reservations by Friday, April 12. County schedules Spring Clean-Up 2013 The
Marshall County Board of Supervisors will provide dumpsters at the
following locations during Spring Clean-Up 2013, April 10 through May
10. • Laws Hill Community Center, Cayce Fire
Department, Potts Camp Fire Department, Slayden Community Center,
Chulahoma Community Center, Waterford Community Center, Red Banks Fire
Department, Watson Community Center, Byhalia Fire Department (across
road), Hudsonville, Matthews Corner voting precinct, Lake Estates,
Marianna voting precinct, Wall Hill voting precinct, Early Grove
Community Center, Bethlehem Community Fire Department, Mt. Pleasant -
the gin, and Victoria Community Center. Please pitch in and make Marshall County a cleaner place to live. Please, no brush or household garbage. The Marshall County rubbish pit and white goods collection site is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday. For more information, call the county administrator, 252-7903. Pilgrimage weekend just few weeks away The 75th annual Holly Springs Pilgrimage is set for April 12-14. The event, sponsored by the Holly Springs Garden Club, will include tours of antebellum homes, churches and Hill Crest Cemetery.
