• Grays Chapel CME Church will observe Ash Wednesday (Lent services), March 5, 7 p.m. Elder Bobby G. Wilson will be speaker. Rev. Brian Davis Sr., host pastor. Everyone is invited.
• Relay For Life of Marshall County team captains and planning committee meeting is Thursday, March 6, at 5:15 p.m. If you can’t come, please send someone from your team. Important business to discuss. Relay is 100 days away.

• New Hope Baptist Church, 137 Valentine Rd. Holly Springs, will have a singing, March 8, with Mike DeVore. Fellowship meal at 6 p.m. and singing at 7 p.m. Pastor Tony Watkins and congregation invite all.

• Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority will be hosting a “Saturday Wine Down” at the Zeta/Sigma Complex March 8, 8 p.m. Admission will be charged.
• Fish fry and silent auction will be held at First Baptist Church of Potts Camp beginning at 5 p.m. Proceeds to benefit Gayle Ash, who has cancer.
• The Pounders Family will be in concert at Winborn United Methodist Church, Hickory Flat, beginning at 5 p.m. There will be an open mike session. A meal will be served in the fellowship hall following singing. Everyone is invited. Pastor is Neal Vick.
• Isaac Chapel, Hwy. 309 S., Byhalia, will have annual Family and Friends’ Day at 2 p.m. Guests will be Rev. Ladell Odum and the St. Mark Church family from Collierville, Tenn. Dinner will be served. Rev. Willie Ward, host pastor, invites everyone.

• The Berachah Ministries, formerly Mt. Sinai C.O.G.I.C. of Mt. Pleasant, will be having a Holy Ghost Revival conducted by Evangelist Richenda Pritchard, starting Wednesday, March 12 through Friday, March 14, 7 p.m. nightly. Everyone is invited. Elder Curtis Pritchard is pastor.
• Lessye Lee Davis 4-H Club meeting (fourth-fifth graders), Marshall County Library, 6 p.m.

• The Berachah Ministries formally Mt. Sinai C.O.G.I.C. of Mt. Pleasant, will be having their Musician’s Appreciation Service starting Saturday, 7 p.m. and climaxing on Sunday at 3 p.m. Guests will include the Pritchard Sisters and a host of choirs, groups, and singers. Everyone is invited. Pastor is Elder Curtis Pritchard Sr.
