Soup bowl, quilt, more
I loved all my Christmas gifts.
They ranged from shirts and pants and gloves to some Alabama Crimson Tide football memorabilia.

2007 resolutions revisited
Seven New Year’s ago...
My youngest granddaughter (then 8 years old) made her New Year’s resolutions in Sunday School and then read them aloud during Children’s Moment to the entire congregation (along with the rest of the kids). She whispered frantically for a few minutes with her Sunday School teacher, who agreed it was OK to leave No. 4 out -- “Have a New Year’s Party if we ever get home from church!”
Was 2013 an unlucky year? Triskaidekaphobia might be the answer
It’s that time again. A brand new year, 2014; 2013 is officially behind us.
Not that I’m superstitious, but 13 is considered by many to be an unlucky number. Many buildings don’t have a 13th floor.
Letters to the Editor
Thanks to all
I would like to thank the Mid-South fishermen who have supported the Pickwick Big Bass Classic and Mid- South Jr. Bass Club and have helped me make them the success that they are. Promoting these two communities has been a blessing to me, and the many friendships I’ve made in the last eight years are priceless. I am very proud of what all of you guys helped me build from the ground up.
