• FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY will meet at 11:30 at the
Holly Springs Library. Carol Miller of Greenwood will review her newest
book, “Must See Mississippi,” in which three Holly
Springs sites are featured.
January 12
• GOSPEL SINGING Emmanual Baptist Church on Red Banks Road is
having a gospel singing featuring the group “Forgiven by
Grace.” Fellowship supper at 5 p.m. and singing at 6 p.m.
Bro. Don and congregation invite all.
January 19
• THE MARSHALL COUNTY REPUBLICAN CLUB will meet at the Holly
Springs Library, 10 a.m., for their monthly meeting. The public is
invited.
• LOVE PROGRAM The Twilight Singers are sponsoring a Love
Program on behalf of Pat Boga, Radio Angel WURC, 7 p.m., at Hopewell
No. 1 M.B. Church, 365 Bonner Street. Host pastor is Leroy James. The
Silver Stars, Great Wings of Joy, Gospel Travelers, Anointed
Spiritualettes and others will be featured groups. The public is
invited. All groups, choirs and male choruses are invited to
participate.

• NIMITZ REUNION The USS Nimitz (CVN-68) Association is
looking for shipmates (ship’s company, staff, squadrons and
detachments) who served on board the nuclear attack aircraft carrier
for a ship’s reunion in Nashville, Tenn., June 19-22, 2008.
The Nimitz is currently deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of
