Final Four Preview men’s / women’s

After an exciting “Elite Eight,” the Final Four is set for both the men’s and women’s tournaments and promises to be loaded with star power. For the men’s final four, most people are looking at the matchup of two of the most dominant players in the tournament, namely DJ Burns vs. Zach Edey.

Watching the University of Connecticut (Uconn) dominate teams, winning games by 25+, gives you a real feeling that they are here to repeat as champions.

The University of Alabama will be in unfamiliar territory this weekend, making it their first appearance in school history.

Head coach of the women’s South Carolina Gamecocks, Dawn Staley, has her ladies locked and loaded for the game. Staley has been looking for this title for 10 years.

The sharpshooter from Iowa, Caitlyn Clark, shut down the defending champs, Louisiana State University Tigers, is looking to reach a goal. Iowa State Hawkeyes came so close to reaching last year.

University of Connecticut women’s coach Geno Auriemma, who has always, and I mean always for decades, made things interesting and this weekend will be no different

And last, the Lady Wolf Pack of North Carolina State, like the Washington Huskies, are sending their men’s program to the final four. Through four rounds of basketball and heartbreak, along with celebration, have set its course in both tournaments this year.

It’s hard to believe we are one weekend away from crowning championships when it seemed like the season had just started. Buckle up this weekend will be a treat to college hoops fans across the globe.
