Bi-county clashes: Byhalia sweeps Ashland

Class 4A Byhalia basketball teams traveled to neighboring Benton County to wrap up their regular season and won both games versus Class 1A Ashland.
The Lady Indians trailed the Lady Blue Devils in the first half but rallied to take a big 74-54 win Friday night.
The Lady Blue Devils rapidly built a 12-6 lead with 4:06 remaining in the opening period. Minutes later, the Lady Indians were closing in on Ashland, cutting it to three, 14-11, with a bucket by Tiyanna Powell. The Lady Blue Devils pulled away on a three-pointer by Kaylen Archibald to grab the first quarter lead 21-15.
