Be thankful....

One of our very own, Maia Miller, was named Teacher of the Year for New Albany Middle School. Teaching in this day and age is an undertaking, but Maia makes it look so effortless with her grace and patience.

Cedarhall was the backdrop for the gorgeous union of Juston and Ragon Mask. The couple said their vows Saturday, November 4th, surrounded by family and friends. Cheers to the Masks and to decades of happiness.

Wesleyann and Chris Carpenter pledged their love for one another at Hedgefarm Saturday, November 11th. Wesleyann looked positively stunning in her bridal gown. Here’s to a lifetime of love, patience and understanding. As families gather for the Thanksgiving holiday, remember those who have an empty seat at their table. Those who have lost loved ones, have loved ones serving our country, those away at college who could not make the trek home or for whatever the reason. I am especially thankful this year that my Momma will be in her seat, as she has been sprung from rehab. Happy Thanksgiving to one and all, near and far. May your birds be juicy and your sides be edible.

Brittany and Jake Jones of Collinsville, Okla., are the guests of Nancy and Mary Neely Jones. Sunday, they spent the afternoon with Michelle Hagins in New Albany to celebrate an early Thanksgiving. They were joined by Byrne Carpenter.

Happiest of birthdays to Rosamond Barnett. She celebrated at a birthday dinner with friends hosted by her momma, Anita, over the weekend.
