Kay Wheeler treated to birthday dinner with grandchildren at Flight

Kay Wheeler was treated to a belated birthday dinner at Flight in downtown Memphis by her grandchildren, Grady Brooks and Caitlyn and Trace Bray.

Congratulations to all who have qualified for the Marshall County political seats this summer. Here is to hoping everyone runs clean races. As a voter, it is your duty to get to know the candidates in the prospective races for which you will be voting. There is more than ample time between now and the election to do your homework. As history would note, being up to date on who you vote for is paramount folks. One might would say we are in a pickle with certain elected officials due to uninformed voters. It is imperative to know the stance of some of the positions that have several running.

Hot races to watch will be the Marshall County Justice Court Judge positions. Both sitting judges have opponents this go round. There are also two open Marshall County Supervisor seats with several running for them.

Do your homework, please!!! Our county needs incredible officials working for us, the people, not the other way around folks!
