Roger Dale Goolsby

Roger Dale Goolsby, 70, of Potts Camp, died February 13, 2024, at his home. He was a member of the Fountain of Truth Church and sang with The Wilson Brothers Gospel Quartet for years. He worked in the theatrical stage industry and as a stagehand in props department at the Oprheum Theater in Memphis, Tenn.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on March 9 at Bethelehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Rev. Steve Wilson and Rev. Mark Johnson will officiate. New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his sister, Norma Spears (Travis) of Potts Camp; brothers, Billy Goolsby of Pontotoc and Carl Goolsby of Southaven.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie F. and Mildred Cupp Goolsby; and a brother, Phillip Goolsby.
