Janie L. Wright McNeil

Janie L. Wright McNeil, 73, of Southaven, formerly of Holly Springs, died February 16, 2024, at her home. She was a member of Hopewell No. 1 MB Church and retired from Cadet Child Care.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 23 from 2-5:30 p.m. and on Feb. 24 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries from 9-9:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Rev. Deldrick Leasure will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves her daughters, Rozelone Johnson, Whitney Cornelious, both of Southaven; son, Mark Twain Wright of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, William H. "Larry" Wright Jr. of Holly Springs, Jackie Paul Wright of Rochester, New York; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, William Odell "Bubba" Wright, Jerry Dean Wright, Patricia Diane Isom, Alice Jean Hughes, Fred Johnson, John Lewis Tucker and Troy Lee Wright.
