Epson "Snook"Riddle Sr.

Epson "Snook" Riddle Sr., 101, of Holly Springs, died March 16, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. He was a member of Gray's Chapel CME Church where he served as a trustee, on the church steward board, and a member of the church choir. He was a retired custodian at the Marshall County Courthouse.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 29 from 3-6 p.m and on March 30 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Elder Morris Riddle will officiate. Burial will be in Gray's Chapel CME Church Cemetery in the Hudsonville community.

He leaves his wife, Louise Hearn Riddle; daughters, Christine Finley of St. Louis, Mo., Lillian Campbell, Diane Cowan, Ethel Riddle, all of Holly Springs, Cathie Gray of New Albany; sons, Elder Morris Riddle of St. Louis, Lawrence Riddle of Mobile, Ala., Larry Hearn of St. Louis, Torrance Hicks of Holly Springs; sister, Katie Rhine of Ashland; brother, Herman Riddle Sr. of Holly Springs; 33 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and several great-great and great-great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his children, Bernice Denton, Marvin Riddle, Brenda Brown, Epson Riddle Jr.; siblings, Anderson Riddle, Addison Riddle Jr., Orsby Riddle, Leroy Riddle Sr., Lela Bell Woods, Ada Lee Isom and Ida Mae Glover.
