Comfort CME Church will have their sixth annual spiritual conference
for women on Fri., May 9, 7 p.m. Speakers will be Dr. Lorann Robinson
of Memphis, Tenn., Corrine Crittle and Shelia Fiddis of Holly Springs.
There will also be a session for teens.
• Mother’s day bake
sale, Fri., May 9, 8 a.m. at Century 21 office on the courthouse square
in Holly Springs. Sponsored by Beta Sigma Phi to benefit the American
Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

• Boating Safety Class will be
held at the Marshall County Fairgrounds, 8 a.m. until. Contact

• Singing New Hope Baptist
Church, Hwy. 72, Slayden, will be having a singing Saturday night, May
10, starting at 7 p.m. Featured group will be the Barnetts from
Stanton, Tenn. Bro. Billy Adair and congregation invite everyone to

• Mother-Daughter Brunch St.
Paul M.B. Church presents first annual Mother-Daughter Brunch, 11 a.m.
at the Outreach Center in Byhalia. Tickets are $10 for adults, 12 years

• Fish supper Potts
Camp/Bethlehem Fire Department will have a fish supper at the Bethlehem
Fire Station, 5-7 p.m. $10.50 per plate. Sheriff Kenny Dickerson will
be cooking with all proceeds to benefit fire departments.

Church on Red Banks Road will have a gospel singing with Reaching Out
as the featured guests. Fellowship supper will be at 5 p.m., singing at

Prayer Breakfast, sponsored by the CYF youth department, Anderson

• Book week The Holly Springs
Primary School will celebrate Children’s Book Week by hosting
a Buy One Get One Free Book Fair May 12 - 16 from 7:30 a.m. until 3
p.m. Buy one book at regular price, get a second book of equal or
lesser value free! Stock up for summer reading! Say thank you to your
teacher for a great year by purchasing a book for her classroom from
her wish list.
