Churches or civic groups looking for opportunities for mission work are urged to join Habitat for Humanity’s efforts. “As of now, we have very little local church participation and invite you to become an active part of this chapter,” said Keith Mason, president of the local chapter. Persons are also needed for the board of directors. Call 252-1306 for more information. One house is in the building stage. “Help us provide affordable housing,” Mason said.
