Dailey gets 1,000th win By BARRY BURLESON Editor It was a signature win in more ways than one for the Marshall Academy Lady Patriots Saturday at Oak Hill. First,
they stunned a top-five Class AA team, the Lady Raiders, 53-51.
Secondly, they earned the 1,000th win in the career of their head

Lady Cards go to 9-0 By BARRY BURLESON Editor The Potts Camp Lady Cardinals remained unbeaten last week with two wins in the Walnut Tournament. Coach Tana Miller’s team beat Alcorn Central by seven and the host school by 26 to go to 9-0 on the season. Full Story

hardwood. The majority of their fans turn out no matter the venue. This

Holly High teams fall to Cougars By CLAUDE VINSON Sports Editor Holly High played hosts to the Cougar teams of Coldwater Tuesday night of last week and came up short in both contests. The
Lady Hawks didn’t get the tip but they got the first four points. The
Lady Cougars were only taken aback momentarily and they quickly tied it
at four all then moved ahead by two. The visitors allowed the home team
just two more points before the first period expired at 10-6. Full Story
Holly High loses two to Ashland Devils

Holly Springs basketball squads dropped a pair to rival Ashland Friday night, including a one-pointer in the boys game. In
the opener, the Lady Hawks carried a lead into the final quarter but
scored just eight points in the fourth, while giving up 23. They fell
