Hospital in Southaven. She was the widow of Arthur Byers and a member
of Evangel Full Gospel Assembly of God. Services were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 5 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Evangel Gardens. She
leaves a daughter, Cynthia Machaud; three brothers, Larry Busby of
Byhalia, Doyle Busby of Mt. Pleasant, Young Busby of Abbeville; two
sisters, Mildred Brandon of Holly Springs, Mary Bumpas of Mt. Pleasant;

Hubert Cook, 92, of Potts Camp, died Nov. 29, 2012. He was a Baptist, a farmer and a veteran. Services
were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 1 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel.

Lee “Belly” Marion, 58, of Potts Camp, died Nov. 27, 2012, at Potts
Camp School. He was a member of Spring Hill MB Church in Waterford and
a school bus driver with Marshall County School District. Services
were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 1 at Potts Camp High School gymnasium.
Burial was in Springhill MB Church Cemetery. Rev. L.G. Bogard

Ann Wilson (Thompson), 63, of Mt. Pleasant, died Nov. 18, 2012, at the
home of her son, J. Shane Wilson in Louisville, Ky. She was a 1969
graduate of Slayden High School. She was employed by United
Technologies Carrier in Collierville, Tenn. for the last 20 years. She
was a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church in Slayden. Services were held Nov. 23 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Carey Chapel Cemetery. She

W.C. Wilson, 82, died Nov. 20, 2012. Services
were held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 28 at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel in New

Cemetery in New Albany. He leaves five
children, Josiephine Wilson of Pontotoc, Vanessa Wilson of Chicago,
Ill., Barnard Wilson of New Albany, Anthony Wilson of Memphis, Tenn.,
Earl Wilson of New Albany; a stepdaughter, Mesheal Matthews of Ashland;
11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by two brothers, Ross Wilson, Alfred Graham; a
sister, Virgie King; three nephews, Willie Alfred Graham Jr., Joe
Wilson and Sammuel Wilson. Pallbearers were
Barnard Wilson, Cedric Boyd, Benjamin Matthews, Anthony Wilson Jr. and
Anthony Wilson. Honorary pallbearers were Nikko Wilson, Shakeil Wilson
and Courtney Gilbert.
