host Lady Cardinals remained unbeaten at 7-0 with a win in the first
game of the night Tuesday, Nov. 20. Meanwhile, the Indians won their

County rivals collide with Lady Indians, Hawks winning By CLAUDE VINSON Sports Editor The basketball rivalry between Byhalia and Holly High was renewed once again last Friday night in the Indians’ wigwam. The
girls’ game got off to a fast start and it only grew after that. In a
game which showed both excitement and suspense, a collected total score
of 151 points was achieved through a fifth quarter. Full Story

Byhalia drops two to Rosa Fort By CLAUDE VINSON Sports Editor The
Byhalia Lady Indians were coming off of a high-scoring, close win just
one night before and back on the hardwood welcoming the Lady Lions of
Rosa Fort Saturday. The first possession went to
the visiting Lady Lions but they came up empty. Shavuntay Cotton got
them started with a deuce and Starkeva Vaughn and Denedra Vaughn
followed each other with treys. Kimberly Reed, who had been the real
star on Friday, threw in a trio of deuces for Byhalia and made it 10-6
