The Marshall Academy softball
team, with just two seniors, wrapped up a successful season Wednesday,
Oct. 3, with one win at the Class AA State Tournament. “It
was our first victory in a state tournament in a few years and it was
a good feeling,” coach Carlton Gibson said. “The girls played well.
They had a goal to get further in state than we did last year and we
