Farese Fly-In slated for Saturday in Ashland
Weather permitting, this year’s Farese Fly-In will be Saturday, Sept. 29, at the John Farese Airpark. It is located off Mississippi Highway 5, one mile south of the intersection of Highway 4 and Highway 5, Ashland.
This year’s event, which begins at 10 a.m., will be in memory of Lemuel May, an avid sport pilot and builder of a twin-engine experimental AirCam. There will be production aircraft, experimental aircraft, ultra light aircraft and helicopters. Food and beverages will be provided.
This is a great event for children and adults alike. Some pilots will offer rides. If the weather is bad, the event will be rescheduled.
