SocietyCity Personals Happy Birthday Wynne Boatwright Happy Birthday wishes to Wynne Boatwright, who was treated to a wonderful family dinner over the weekend. Her actual birthday was Wednesday. Alaken McNeer celebrated her birthday Friday night in Carrollton cheering the Patriots on to a victory! Brittany Stewart and J.C. Holmes spent the weekend up in the Tennessee mountains. While there, they went to the aquarium, Ruby Falls and many other fun and exciting sites! The Patriots of Marshall Academy dropped a bomb on the Carroll Academy Rebels Friday night. This is their first conference game of the season. They left the Rebels dumbfounded with a 40-7 victory, which was a far cry from their end-of-the-season battle last year with this same team. This week, they travel to Indianola for more conference play. Kudos to senior Matt Rappa, who smoked every player who moved and was in his sight! Seniors Aaron McAlexander and Zack Pritchett and sophomore Devin McGreger also proved to be thorns in the sides of the Rebels. They all drove in for touchdowns. I cannot wait to see what this team has in store for us this week! (To put your news in City Personals, please e-mail maryclayb@yahoo.com; mail to City Personals, The South Reporter, P.O.
