Authorities seek burglary suspects
By SUE WATSON
Two black males, one wearing a mask and the other not disguised, broke into the Potts Camp Pharmacy in the early morning hours Monday, Aug. 27.
The suspects took an undetermined amount of controlled substances, according to sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
They gained entry to the business by prying and beating the front door, he said.
The business alarm sounded, and they were in the pharmacy for only about a minute and a half before leaving the scene, according to Dickerson.
The suspects appeared on surveillance cameras, as well as the vehicle the suspects are believed to have been traveling in. According to those cameras plus video from another business, the suspects are believed to have left Potts Camp and driven west on Highway 178.
A reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for this crime is being offered.
Anyone with information that may help identify suspects in this case are asked to call the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at 662-252-1311 or Marshall County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-729-2169.
