SocietyCity Personals Mary Clay Brooks ‘They don’t make them like Frank anymore’ It
is with a heavy heart that this column is written this week. For almost
two weeks Frank Swords fought a battle with an unforgivable disease. He
flew among the angels Sunday. If ever there was a
man who was close to an angel on earth, it was Frank. He did more for
this community, as well as surrounding areas, and schools, than any one
person could possibly imagine. His generousity was felt by thousands.
Frank and his team of Percheron horses pulling the carriage during
Pilgrimage yearly was a treat for both residents and visitors alike. Full Story

DeEra Raimey and Danrich Warren to wed Sept. 8 at Rising Star MB Vinita
Raimey and Darrell Dukes are pleased and proud to announce the
engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, DeEra A. Raimey,
to Danrich M. Warren. Danrich is the son of Danny and Vickie Warren of
Holly Springs. The bride-elect is the
granddaughter of Robert and Florida Manning and the late John D.
Cathey, and Lela Wilkins and William Brown Jr. The prospective groom is the grandson of Richard and Annie Moore and the late Roosevelt and Adrianna Warren. DeEra
is a 2007 honor graduate of Holly Springs High School and a 2011
graduate of The University of Memphis Lowenberg School of Nursing with
a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is employed with Baptist
DeSoto Hospital in Southaven. Danrich is a 2005
graduate of Holly Springs High School and attended Northeast MS
Community College majoring in sports medicine. He is now employed with
Glazers of Memphis, Tenn. The couple will
exchange vows on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Rising Star MB Church in
Holly Springs at 4 p.m. with a reception immediately following at
Kirkwood National Golf Club. The couple will honeymoon in the Bahamas
and reside in Olive Branch.

Williams Robert
and Mary Cates Williams , of Oxford, are the proud parents of a son,
who was born at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, on July 27,
2012. He weighed eight pounds, 14 ounces and was 21 inches long.
He has been named Robert Paul Williams Jr. Grandparents are Fred and Sally Permenter of Ripley; John Williams of Jackson; and Mary Waltman of Houston, Texas. Great-grandparents are Dorothy Warren of Holly Springs, and Mr. and Mrs. I.O. Fowler of Jackson. |
