SocietyCity Personals Local boys attend Camp Hopewell Grady Brooks, Will Hangii, Zach Sorrell and Thomas Stewart returned Saturday after spending a week at Camp Hopewell. While there, they enjoyed hikes, swimming, canoeing and meeting other children. AnnYager and Alex McCrosky of Danville, Ky., and Bea and Drew Tolsdorf and children, Caroline and Charlie, of Jackson, spent the weekend in Holly Springs visiting with each other and friends. Screen on the Green at Montrose Saturday night was a raging success! The original “Footloose” movie was shown. People gathered with chairs and quilts on the side lawn to enjoy the show. A plethora of delectable food items was offered, as well as tasty concoctions to cool the palate. What a wonderful way to spend a summer evening — great friends, awesome movie and a marvelous time! A big thank you to those who took on the daunting task of getting it all arranged. I know Sarah Taylor and Elizabeth Smith played a major role in making it happen. Those twins can pull off anything and make it seem effortless, although I know they work their fingers to the bone for the betterment and enjoyment of our community!
