Several from town attended the monthly Genealogical Society meeting on Saturday at the Marshall County Library in Holly Springs and then came back to the fund-raiser at the Methodist church. This month’s speaker at the genealogical meeting was Boyce DeLashmit, who presented a program about Confederate flags to a large group.
Sylvia (Seymour) Akin, editor of The Heritage News, a publication of the Marshall County Genealo-gical Society, did a remarkable job on the June publication.
