you, but also be your protector. She asks that you just come by and
meet her and she will try her best to impress you. She’s

Recipes from Martha Ruth Leonard Miss Daisy Celebrates Tennessee Daisy King with James Crutchfield Oven Barbecued Pork Chops 8 1-inch thick loin pork chops 8 slices lemon, 1/4 inch thick 8 slices onion, 1/4 inch thick 1 tsp. oil salt, to taste pepper, to taste 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 8 oz. can tomato sauce Salt
and pepper pork chops. In skillet, sauté pork chops in oil. Transfer to
a large, 2 qt. casserole dish. Top with lemon and onion slices. Combine
tomato sauce and brown sugar; pour over pork chops. Cover and bake in a
325 degree oven for 60 minutes. Baste occasionally. Remove cover and
bake 15 minutes longer, continually basting. 8 servings.
Lima Bean Casserole 10-3/4 oz. can cheddar cheese soup 2 10-oz. pkgs. frozen lima beans, cooked and drained 2 tbsps. chopped pimento 1/2 cup whole milk 1/2 cup mayonnaise 3/4 cup chopped celery 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 2 cans fried onion rings In
bowl, combine soup, milk, mayonnaise; add beans, celery, parsley,
pimento and 1 can of the onion rings. Pour into a greased 2-qt.
casserole. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes, covered. Uncover
and bake for 10 minutes with the remaining onion rings on top. 8
servings.

annual Potts Camp School reunion was held Sat., June 1, at the school
cafeteria. There were over 80 in attendance. Annie Ruth Stone
coordinates the reunion each year, with T.M. “Coach” Stone serving as
emcee. Special recognition was given to Mr. and Mrs. John W. Watson of
Memphis, Tenn., who were celebrating their 62nd wedding anniversary. Father Paul retiring The.
Rev. Paul M. Casper, SCJ, pastor at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in
Holly Springs will be honored with a farewell party on Sun., June 16.
