The Marshall Academy varsity boys placed third and the girls fourth in a track meet March 28 on the MA campus. Walnut placed first in varsity boys with 91 points. Magnolia Heights and Marshall trailed with 51 and 42, respectively. Winning
the varsity girls competition was West Memphis Christian with 66
points. Next came Walnut (54), Delta Academy (37) and Marshall (35). Magnolia Heights Lady Chiefs and the Byhalia Indians were the
first-place winners in the junior varsity portion of the track meet. The Magnolia Heights junior varsity girls had 69 points. Next came Kirk Academy (68) and Byhalia Middle School (53). The
Byhalia junior varsity boys dominated with 96.5 points. Kirk was second
with 61.5, followed by West Memphis Christian with 38 and Marshall 27. Individual results for the junior varsity Patriots follow.
