Moore will debut the first book in a planned murder mystery series in
Holly Springs at Montrose, April 1, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Copies
of “Shore Excursion,” her first mystery, released by Camel Press the
same day, will be available for purchase and can be signed by the
author at this time. The party is hosted by the Holly Springs Garden
Club. Moore will be guest of Friends of the
Library in Holly Springs April 3 at 12 noon where she will also discuss
her new murder mystery series and sign copies of her new book. The
story’s plot centers around sleuth Sidney Marsh, a New York transplant
from Mississippi who leads a tour cruise for senior citizens through
Europe. The tour takes a detour because of a killer on board who
targets her customers. Moore, of Holly Springs,
draws on her 15 years experience as a travel agency manager and other
life experiences for inspiration for her series. The
book release is timed to coincide with the 74th Annual Holly Springs
Pilgrimage April 13-15, and Wakefield, the author’s home, will be open
at this time for the tour. For more on the author’s book signing
