BMC wins at Kirkwood Adam Hall fired a
two-over-par 74 at Kirkwood National Golf Club Thursday to lead Blue
Mountain College to a three-shot win in a three-team match against
Ashford (Iowa) and Aurora (Illinois) universities. Hall,
who got off to a shaky start, went 2-3 on the par-three fourth hole and
the par-five fifth hole, then birdied the 15th and 18th holes – the
last one in a heavy downpour – for his 39-35-74 and medalist honors. Full Story
Rodeo set for March 24 The Deep South Championship Rodeo comes to the Marshall County Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 24, at 7 p.m. Ticket

Soccer registration Saturday Children ages 5
to 15 can sign up for spring soccer at BridgeWay Baptist Church, 107
Taska Road, Mt. Pleasant, on March 17 from noon until 2 p.m. The cost
is $35 per child. The church is located between First State Bank and Dollar General store. Volunteer coaches and referees are also needed.

Marshall first- and second-grade basketball team went undefeated (5-0)
in the East Shelby Church Recreation Association (ESCRA) league. Team

Lady Cards blank Wildcats Tuesday afternoon of last week found the Potts Camp Lady Cardinals taking on the Independence Lady Wildcats at Independence. The
Lady Cardinals played two games – junior varsity and varsity. This was
the junior varsity’s first game of the year. The game went three
innings with the score Potts Camp 10 and Independence 10. Full Story
