• Love banquet Strawberry M.B. • Fashion show The Mt. Sinai COGIC of Mt. Pleasant youth department presents a fashion show “Rip the Run Way, Christ Way,” 6 p.m. Please contact Komiko Williams at 901-859-2956 if you would like to participate. Tickets are $2. Everyone is invited. Pastor is Curtis Pritchard Sr.

• Republican MEETING The Marshall Republican Club will meet, Sat., Feb. 19, 10 a.m. at the Marshall County Library in Holly Springs. The public is invited.

• Black history program, Church of Christ in Wall Hill, Feb. 19, 5 p.m. Bro. Oscar Dorsey, minister.

• WILD GAME SUPPER will be held at Red Banks Baptist Church, 6 p.m. Dr. Ken Hester will be the guest speaker.

• SWEETHEART CORONATION The Isom Chapel CME Church will celebrate its first ever Sweetheart Coronation at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall. All are welcome, Rev. Joe T. Lester is pastor. Contestants include: DeMarco Taylor Jr., Aleeyah Beard, Kamyah Gatewood, Ivy Nabors, Jaylen Sims, Zykia McKinnie, Saniya Hughes and Gerry Kimble Jr.

• Wild game supper Spring Hill Baptist Church, Waterford, Sat., Feb. 19, with guest speaker Bro. Bobby Snow. Host pastor, Bro. John Parker. Doors will open at 5 p.m., meal starts at 6 p.m. Door prizes will be given. All are invited!

February 20

• Black History Program, St. Paul CME Church, Holly Springs, Sun., Feb. 20, 2:30 p.m. Rev. Willie Hoey and Pleasant Hill CME Church will be the guests. The public is invited to attend. Rev. Tony Wilkins, pastor.

• PLAY Mt. Pisgah CME Church presents “In the Midst of it All,” a play by Cassandra Moore Ellis, Sunday, February 20, at 3 p.m. Mt. Pisgah is located at 3877 Cayce Road. Come one and all. Elder Eddie Wilson is the pastor.

• Black History Free Branch MB Church, with Pastor J.L. Tunstall, Sun., will have 9 a.m. morning worship, Feb. 20 and then attend Pleasant Grove in Red Banks to fellowship with them for their black history program at 11 a.m.

February 24

• Relay for life Marshall County Relay for Life will meet Thursday, February 24, at 5:15 p.m. for team captains at the county library. Please we need all team captains to be present and make sure your team is registered. If you can not come please make sure you send one of your team members. We have very important information to share with you. The committee will meet the same evening at 6:15.

February 25

• A NIGHT OF PRAISE will be held at New Dimension, 7 p.m. with the Rust College BSU Choir , recording artist James Ramsey of Oxford, Salt & Light Minister of Music, Bro. Darrel Mason and Kendrick King and New Dimension Praise Team. Special guest MC will be Eloise McClinton, executive director of ICS.

February 26

• Singing Rice Chapel Methodist Church, Hwy. 72, will have singing on Feb. 26, with Bro. Marvin Morrow. Fellowship at 6 p.m., singing at 7. Everyone is invited. Pastor, Bro. Walter Myers.

• Class meeting W.T. Sims High School Class of 1967 will meet Sat., Feb. 26, 3 p.m. at Pizza Hut, Hwy. 7 S. Important, please attend. James Alford, chairman.

• Youth day The Mt. Sinai COGIC, of Mt. Pleasant, will have their annual Youth Day Program at 2:30 p.m. Special guests will be Pastor Thomas Trent and the Rehoboth Urban Outreach Ministries of Memphis, Tenn. Everyone is invited. Pastor is Curtis Pritchard Sr.

• BLACK HISTORY PROGRAM will be held at Free Branch MB Church, 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Tyrone Miller. J.L. Tunstall is pastor.

• Recovery Meeting SOS Christian Recovery Ministries will host a group meeting Friday evenings at 6 p.m. The group’s primary focus is drug addiction, alcoholism and the affected families. There will be a group for family members to learn how to cope and heal from the destructive behavior of an addict or an alcoholic in the family.
