Santa had to call off his “putting together” project about 1 a.m. Christmas Day.
Our fourth grader, Erin, had requested a basketball goal. Santa, shopping at home, made his purchase right here in Holly Springs a couple of weeks before December 25.

I enjoy “both” Christmases — the commercial one and the one that celebrates the birth of Christ.
Shopping with my granddaughters this year has been fun. And enlightening! We ate out a lot — one of my favorite things – as we did our part to help boost the economy.
Crosspointe Christian Fellowship had a beautiful “home for Christmas” program. Dani McCulloch of Memphis and American Idol fame, was the guest and she was spectacular. All the music was spectacular. Brandi Bell and the worship band are incredibly talented.

Ambrosia was hard work
Christmas brought lots of good food as always, but this year I did not have a single helping of ambrosia! Ambrosia is one of my favorite holiday treats — best when served with a slice of white cake and coconut icing!
Letter To The Editor
A very special thanks to the Cayce community. Teresa and Wilma at The Little Place on Cayce Road want to say thank you so much for helping with the Kids’ Angel Tree and the Senior Angel Tree.
We have 12 children and four seniors.
Thanks so much
