Close to Nowhere
Bits and pieces...
• Keys are giving me a lot of problems lately. They’re running away from me.
Tuesday morning, I assured Pop several times, repeatedly, that the key to his car was in the cupholder in my car’s console. It ain’t there though.
Kris and I tore the car apart Tuesday morning before leaving for work. It just ain’t there!
Got to work, discovered that Kris had started the car with his key. My keys were at home hanging on the key hook by the back door.
Since I go to work early on Tuesday, the office was locked. Carolyn was in the back and she had a key to the connecting door but not the front. I got her key and ran as fast as I could to the alarm pad, but I wasn’t fast enough. The alarm company called Barry, who called me to find out what in the world I was doing.
The rest of Tuesday has been just about as weird!
• A much-loved friend sent me this via email. It’s such a good idea, I’m passing it on. I’m going to use it also!
