Lady Cardinals beat rival Rebels

The Potts Camp Lady Cardinals traveled a short distance east on Highway 78 November 15 and knocked off rival Hickory Flat.
The visitors used a strong third quarter to pick up the 59-47 win and improve to 4-1 on the season.
The Lady Cardinals were up 35-28 at halftime and then held the Lady Rebels to just six in the third while scoring 16 themselves.
Tenesha Woods gunned in a game-high 22 points for Potts Camp. Zana Davis had 11.
Kadejar Moore led Hickory Flat’s offense with 18 points.
The Potts Camp boys dropped the nightcap 79-20 to the Rebels. The young Cardinals’ season mark went to 0-5.
Jamorris Reynolds was Potts Camp’s top scorer with seven.
Hickory Flat had four players in double digits – Courtney Bean, 18; Anthony Tucker, 12; Austin Lowery, 11; and Trey Reed, 10.
Potts Camp teams were scheduled to visit Marshall County rival Byhalia on Tuesday of this week. They will play in the Walnut Tournament next week, November 28 and December 1-3.
