included the following – disturbances 6; funerals, 6; alarms, 11;
larcenies, 4; accidents, 8; burglaries, 8; 911 hang-ups, 6; shots
fired, 3; auto burglary, 1; assaults, 1; assists, 1; malicious
mischief, 2; domestics, 6; and 65 miscellaneous calls. The dog catcher
took 7 calls. Officers filed the following reports: Monday, Oct. 10 • residential burglary/grand larceny in the 100 block of North Maury Street. • stalking in the 100 block of Rust Avenue. • commercial burglary in the 100 block of Gholson Avenue. • malicious mischief on Spring Street. Tuesday, Oct. 11 • phone harassment in the 300 block of East Salem. • petit larceny in the 800 block of West Street. • malicious mischief in the 400 block of Van Dorn Avenue. • credit card fraud in the 100 block of Rust Avenue. • robbery in the 600 block of Highway 7 South. • grand larceny in the 700 block of Martin Luther King Drive. Police officers made two felony arrests. Katarus Isom, 27, of the Dowdy Road address area, was arrested and charged with auto burglary, Norman said. Fredchello Moore, 28, of the 300 block of West Street, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, he said. Officers
