• GOSPEL MUSIC Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church will host Delta Blue, a bluegrass gospel group, at 11 a.m. during the worship service and then at 1 p.m. for a concert. Jim Dees with Thacker Mountain Radio will be the emcee with Shannon McNally and her band providing the evenings music.

• Recovery Meeting SOS Christian Recovery Ministries will host a group meeting Friday evenings at 6 p.m. The group’s primary focus is drug addiction, alcoholism and the affected families.
