Jessie Lenora Bennem, 51, of Victoria, died Jan. 13, 2011, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Services
will be at 1 p.m. on Jan. 19 at Mt. Newell MB Church in Red Banks,
where she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev.

Bennem of Memphis; and five grandchildren. Toni Katherine Bobbitt Toni
Katherine Bobbitt, 62, of the Cockrum Community and formerly of Mt.
Pleasant and Fayette County, Tenn., died Jan. 14, 2011, at Germantown
Methodist Hospital. She was a Baptist. Services
were held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 16 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Carey Chapel Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Bro. Gary Joyner
officiated. She leaves her husband, Billy F.
Bobbitt; a son, Barry Lee of Olive Branch; five daughters, Pam Dixon of

Jake Humphrey, 74, of Hudsonville, died Jan. 13, 2011, in Olive Branch.

Jerry
L. Hunt, 51, of New Albany, died Jan. 7, 2011, at his home. He joined
the U.S. Army in 1979, serving approximately 25 years until retirement
in 2006. Some of his accomplishments include Army E-5 Sergeant,
Marksmanship Badge M-16, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary and Army
Reserve Components Achievement Medal. Services

“Daddy Doc” James, 100, of Holly Springs, died Jan. 6, 2011 at Alliance
HealthCare System. He was a retired self-employed farmer and a member
of Mt. Gilead CME Church where he was a church steward. He was the
widower of Maeliza Jones James. Services were
