the men’s. Caroline Wozniacki had been ranked number one in the world
for the women. This was a milestone since a Williams sister was not in

Knotty Bolden Rodeo set for this weekend The 27th annual Knotty Bolden Memorial Rodeo will be held July 15-16 at 8 p.m. The
rodeo, produced by J Bar B Rodeo Co., will be held at the Knotty Bolden

Holly Springs 8 and under girls Dizzy Dean softball team won first
place in the Marshall County Pre-Season Tournament held in Holly
Springs. The Orange Crush placed first in the regular season league
play, and also placed first in the post-season tournament held in Potts

Boosters host supper The Holly Springs High School Athletic Booster Club is sponsoring a spaghetti supper this Friday, July 15. It
will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Holly Springs High School
cafeteria. The cost is $6 per person for spaghetti, two sides, roll and

Boater safety class July 16 The Mississippi
Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks will have a Boater Safety
Education Class at the Marshall County Fairgrounds on Saturday, July
16, from 8 a.m. until. Anyone born after June 30, 1980, must take a boating safety class to operate a boat or jet ski on public waters in Mississippi. To attend the class, participants must bring their Social Security number and provide a current mailing address. To register for the class, contact the North Regional Office at 662-840-5172. The class is free and may also be taken online at MDWFP.com.
