EducationMulti-purpose building to be named for David Fuller | | David Fuller |
If
you have seen David Fuller around Potts Camp lately you’ve probably
heard about the new multi-purpose building to be named for him. The
new building for the students of Mary Reid School houses four new
classrooms and a gymnasium to be used primarily for physical education
classes for kindergarten through fourth grade students. David
comes to work at Mary Reid at various times throughout the school day.
He gives the teachers the morning report each day. He passes out the
Monday memo to the students. He eats Milky Way candy bars. He fills up
the drink box. He moves heavy boxes. He drinks hot chocolate. He takes
out the trash. He moves tables, chairs, and desks. He eats ice cream.
He leads the students in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. He does anything that’s needed and that’s why the school board voted to name the building in his honor. The
building will be dedicated to David Fuller on August 8 at 6 p.m.
Everyone is invited to Mary Reid School for this wonderful occasion. Mary
Reid will also use this night for the annual Meet and Greet. Parents
and students may visit the classrooms and leave supplies with their
teacher. Students begin classes the morning of August 10 at 7:30. Please
join Mary Reid School on August 8 at 6 p.m. for the dedication of the
David Fuller building and Meet and Greet. Refreshments will be served
at 6 p.m. with the dedication to follow. |
