mid-August it will be 11-on-11. But for the past few weeks, it has been
seven-on-seven.
Potts
Camp, Marshall Academy and H.W. Byers have been among the high school
football teams participating in seven-on-seven games on Mondays at
Oxford High School. The competition, sort of like tag football, wrapped

Youth football camp Saturday The first annual
Lester/Rice Youth Football Camp will be held Saturday, July 9, from 8
a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sam Coopwood Park in Holly Springs. The camp will be hosted by Brian Lester and Eric Rice. Full Story

Tyson’s
Elite 12 and under softball team won the Marshall County Post-Season
Tournament in Byhalia. The girls also took first place in the
pre-season tournament and finished first in overall league play.
Tyson’s Elite ended the season with a record of 13-0. Team members are

Knotty Bolden Rodeo scheduled for July 15-16 The 27th annual Knotty Bolden Memorial Rodeo will be held July 15-16 at 8 p.m. The
rodeo, produced by J Bar B Rodeo Co., will be held at the Knotty Bolden
Memorial Arena on Highway 7, six miles north of Holly Springs. Tickets are $8, ages 10 and older; $6, ages 4-9; and free, ages 3 and under.
