Petitioner would show that the recorded
legal description of the property located in Marshall County,
Mississippi, is as follows:

the land records of said County inLand Plat Book 3, page 91 (now
refiled as Plat File 642 A &B).
Being the same land and property
conveyed to Gertrude Ford Williams by warranty deed executed by W.H.
Hurdle, Jr. Dated January 30, 1965, recorded in Land Deed Book No. 105
at page 137 in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Marshall County,
Mississippi.
You have been made a Defendant in the Complaint filed in this Court by
Ronald Anderson seeking to confirm tax title. Defendants other than you
are: None.
You are required to mail or hand
deliver a written response to the Complaint filed against you in this
action to Collier Carlton, Attorney for the Petitioner, whose address
is Post Office Box 429, Holly Springs, MS 38635. Your response must be
mailed or hand delivered not later than thirty (30) days after the 7
day of July, 2011, which is the date of first publication of this
summons.
If your response is not so mailed or
delivered, a judgment by default will be entered against you for the
relief sought by the Petitioner. You must also file the original of
your response with the Clerk of this Court within a reasonable time
afterward.

Invitation for Bids
The Rust College Community Development
Corporation(herein called (the “Developer”) will receive bids for the
construction of a single-family residence, consisting of 1500 square
feet of heated space, more or less, on N. Walthall Street in Holly
Springs, Mississippi at 1:00 o’clock p.m. on the 8th day of July at the
David Beckley Conference Center, located at 155 Rust Avenue (across
from the Rust College Guard Station) Holly Springs, Mississippi.
Description of work: Construction of a
single-family residence on N. Walthall Street in the City of Holly
Springs, Mississippi, that conforms to Energy Star Standards and based
upon the plans and specifications on file with the Developer, the Rust
College Community Development Corporation, consisting of 1500 square
feet, more or less.
Bona fide bidders may obtain copies of
the proposed contract documents, including plans and specifications, by
depositing $100.00 with the Owner for each set of documents. Copies
will be issued commencing at 10:00 o’clock p.m. on June 10, 2011 at the
David Beckley Conference Center, 155 Rust Avenue (across from the Rust
College Guard Station) Holly Springs, Mississippi. Deposits will be
refunded to each person who returns the documents in good condition
within ten days after bid opening.
A pre-bid conference is scheduled for
June 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the David Beckley Conference Center, 155
Rust Avenue (across from the Rust College Guard Station) Holly Springs,
Mississippi. Bidders are urged to inspect the site where services are
to be performed and to satisfy themselves as to all general and local
conditions that may affect the cost of performance of the contract to
the extent such information is reasonably obtainable. In no event will
a failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for withdrawal of a
bid after opening or constitute grounds for a claim after contract
award.
A bid guarantee in the form of a
certified check or bank draft payable to the Owner, irrevocable letter
of credit, U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed
by the bidder in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, is
required to be submitted with each bid. An itemized cost breakdown,
separating materials and labor, is required with each bid.
The contract will be awarded to the
lowest responsive bidder whose bid does not exceed the amount of funds
estimated by the Owner to be available for construction of the project,
subject to any applicable Indian Preference requirements. Only bids
meeting all of the bid requirements, including herein shall be
considered for award. In the event that the lowest bidder is not
awarded a contract, a dissenting contractor has 48 hours in which to
file a written complaint.
Bids will be opened on Friday July 8,
2011 at 1:00 o’clock p.m. at the David Beckley Conference Center, 155
Rust Avenue (across from the Rust College Guard Station) Holly Springs,
Mississippi. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days
following the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner.
Award of this contract is subject to a
determination by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD) that the contract is eligible to contract for federally funded
activities.
