Four arrested on drug-related charges By SUE WATSON Staff Writer A
Marshall County resident, two DeSoto County residents and one person
from Tunica County were arrested and charged with drug-related offenses
following an investigation spanning several months, according to
sheriff Kenny Dickerson. Tracy Fields, 41, of the
4100 block of Hernando Road in the Red Banks area, was arrested and
charged with possession of precursors with intent to sell
methamphetamine, manufacture of a controlled substance and conspiracy
to manufacture a controlled substance, he said. Fields is out of jail
on $20,000 bond. Also arrested were Elaine
Flurry, 38, and Ronald Flurry, 45, of the 10800 block of Lexington
Drive, Olive Branch, and charged with conspiracy to possess a
controlled substance. Both were released on $5,000 bond. A
third suspect, Melton Glover Jr., 35, of the 1600 block of Irwin
Avenue, Tunica, was charged with possession of precursors with intent
to manufacture methamphetamine, with manufacture of a controlled
substance, and with conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance,
Dickerson said. Glover was released on $20,000 bond. A
search of the Hernando Road property uncovered an in-active
methamphetamine lab consisting of numerous chemicals and items that
were being used to manufacture methamphetamine, the sheriff said. The investigation resulted in the seizure of several weapons and the lab, he said. |
