By SUE WATSON
A Marshall County resident, two DeSoto County residents and one person from Tunica County were arrested and charged with drug-related offenses following an investigation spanning several months, according to sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
Tracy Fields, 41, of the 4100 block of Hernando Road in the Red Banks area, was arrested and charged with possession of precursors with intent to sell methamphetamine, manufacture of a controlled substance and conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance, he said. Fields is out of jail on $20,000 bond.
Also arrested were Elaine Flurry, 38, and Ronald Flurry, 45, of the 10800 block of Lexington Drive, Olive Branch, and charged with conspiracy to possess a controlled substance. Both were released on $5,000 bond.
A third suspect, Melton Glover Jr., 35, of the 1600 block of Irwin Avenue, Tunica, was charged with possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, with manufacture of a controlled substance, and with conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance, Dickerson said. Glover was released on $20,000 bond.
A search of the Hernando Road property uncovered an in-active methamphetamine lab consisting of numerous chemicals and items that were being used to manufacture methamphetamine, the sheriff said.
The investigation resulted in the seizure of several weapons and the lab, he said.
